Filter driers are usually installed in the liquid line of a dry-expansion refrigeration system, where they have a dual function.

First, they trap coarse particulate contamination and copper shavings, and second, they capture any moisture present in the system.

For this purpose, modern filter driers are equipped with a drier core consisting of a 100% molecular sieve for optimal drying performance and filtering.

This item is designed with lines to prevent refrigeration system from being contaminated by solid or liquid contaminants. They are filled with a mixture of a specially-prescribed desiccant to fully eliminate the acid and water from any refrigeration system

Thesre are two types of Eliminator cores.
1. Type DML driers have a core composition of 100% molecular sieves.
2. Type DCL contain 80% molecular sieves with 20% activated alumina.
3. All Eliminator driers have a solid core with bindling material held to an absolute minimum. Core selection is primarily based on the refrigerant oil used in the system.

FEATURES

1.100% 3A molecular sieves core.
2. High drying capacity minimizing the risk of acid formation(hydrolysis).
3. Optimized for HFC refrigerants(R134a, R404a, R410a, ect. )with POE or PAG oils. Compatible with R22.
4. Will not deplete oil additives.

Type DCL
1.80% 3A molecular sieves with 20% activated alumina.
2. Perfect core blend for systems that operate at high drying capacity.
3. Optimized for CFC and HCFC refrigerants(R22, R502, etc) with mineral or alkyl benzene oils. Compatible with HFC's and refrigerant blends.

1. UL approved for MWP up to 42 bar
2. Avaliable with solder and flare connections
3. Compact 3 cubic inches drier ideal for refrigeration and air conditioning units
4. Corrosion resistant powder-painted finish. Can be used in all environments including marine applications.
5. Allows installation with any orientation provided the arrow is in the flow direction.
6. Avalibale in sizes from 3 to 75 cubic inches.

1.25μ M filter provides high retention with minimal pressure drop.
2. Thermally stable up to 120C degree.
