Dc Steel-making electric arc Furnace
Application of equipment:
Used for melting ordinary steel, high quality carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel.
Product overview:
Dc electric arc furnace is a type of electric arc furnace that uses direct current as an energy source, mainly for melting steel or alloys and non-ferrous metals. The working principle is to use the arc generated between the electrode and the charge (or molten pool) to generate heat, so as to achieve the purpose of melting.
Product features:
Compared with AC arc furnace, DC arc furnace has the advantages of capital, equipment, environmental protection, especially operation results, such as low electrode consumption, small voltage fluctuation, and small impact on the power grid.
Product flow chart:
1. Loading: Transport the waste steel to the steelmaking workshop, use a crane to lift the waste steel and put it into the steelmaking furnace to fill the furnace;
2, melting: close the furnace cover, through the current, so that the top graphite electrode and the bottom electrode produce a strong arc, the high temperature of the arc makes the waste steel quickly melt to form molten steel;
3, oxidation: oxygen is blown into the furnace, so that some harmful elements in the molten steel (such as phosphorus, sulfur) and oxygen chemical reaction to produce oxides, and with the slag discharged out of the oven;
4, steel and refining: the refined molten steel is poured into the ladle, and then further refining treatment, such as adjusting the composition, temperature, etc., to meet specific quality requirements.
