How does a hydraulic tail lift work?

The pressure in the cylinder pushes the piston out, thereby raising the liftgate platform. When the control box switch is turned to the down position, the lower valve coil is activated, allowing fluid to flow back from the cylinder to the reservoir.
Our tailgate elevators are all hydraulic operated, although they can be mechanical and controlled by the operator using relay switches.
The use of a rear lift does not require the use of machinery such as forklifts to load heavy objects onto the vehicle. The rear lift also bridges the height difference between the loading platform and the vehicle loading platform.
