The USB port complies with the USB 2.0/1.1 specification, and the Fast Ethernet MAC and PHY are compatible with IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u protocols. A microcontroller with a built-in USB Host port can be used with AX88772C to increase the twisted pair fast Ethernet feature.
