Modified Polyurethane Mdi Polyurethane Prepolymer Polymer
TDI introduction
TDI (toluene diisocyanate) is one of the commonly used polyisocyanates, and polyisocyanates are polyurethane (PU) materials and important basic raw materials. The commonly used TDI in the polyurethane industry is a mixture of 2,4-TDI and 2,6-TDI isomers, including 3 commonly used grades: TDI-80/20, TDI-100 and TDI-65/35. The preceding number indicates the content of 2,4-TDI in the composition. For example, 80 in TDI-80/20 means that its composition is 80% of 2,4-TDI and 20% of 2,6-TDI; 100 in TDI-100 means that it is basically 2,4-TDI (about 98 %), there are few isomers of 2,6-TDI. Mainly used in the production of flexible polyurethane foam and polyurethane elastomer, coatings, adhesives, etc.
1. Applications
Polyurethane is mainly used for polyurethane synthetic leather, polyurethane foam, polyurethane coating, polyurethane adhesive, polyurethane rubber (elastomer) and polyurethane fiber. Transformation, polyurethane is also used in civil engineering, site drilling, mining and petroleum engineering to block water and stabilize buildings or roadbeds; as a paving material, it is used in sports fields, runways, and indoor floors of buildings.

4. Storage
Since WANNATE® PM-200 is a reactive chemical, reaction with atmospheric moisture happens easily and leads to the formation of insoluble ureas and carbon dioxide gas, which can result in pressure build-up in closed containers and viscosity increase of the product. Containers must therefore be absolutely dry and carefully sealed after congested with nitrogen. Containers of WANNATE® PM-200 should be kept properly closed and stored indoors at ambient temperature (15-35℃) in a well-ventilated area. Storage at low temperature (below 5℃) may lead to some crystallization; this material must, therefore, be protected from frost. PM-200 2 / 2 Wanhua Chemical Group Co., LTD If crystallization does occur, the material should be heated by rolling the drum in a hot air oven at 70-80℃ to melt it out, and should then be thoroughly agitated before use. Melting in a water bath is not recommended. Extended storage at temperatures above 50℃ is not recommended to prevent from the formation of insoluble solids and viscosity increase.
5. Shelf Life
Under recommended storage conditions, the shelf life of WANNATE® PM-200 is one year since the date of production.
