1. Introduction
Hydroxybutyl Acrylate (HBA) is mainly used in the manufacture of thermosetting acrylic coatings, light curing acrylic coatings, photosensitive coatings, adhesives, textile treatment agents, paper processing, water quality stabilizers and polymer materials. With a small amount of use, but can significantly improve the product has the characteristics of abrasion resistance, weather resistance, chemical resistance and flexibility. Compared with hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) and hydroxypropyl acrylate (HPA), its relative molecular weight is larger, and the same mass of hydroxyl acrylic resin can be synthesized with less hydroxyl mass and better performance. In addition, it is less volatile and less irritating.
