Description

Hydraulic Double Acting Double Ended Cylinder Piston Chrome for Garbage Truck

A double action hydraulic cylinder can move along the horizontal (x-axis) plane, the vertical (y-axis) plane or along any other plane of motion. This design uses pressurized hydraulic fluid to extend and retract the piston rod. This requires fluid ports at both ends of the actuator in order for the oil to be directed onto both sides to the piston.

Stronger weather resistance: The application new materials and special structures can adapt to different environment from cold to hot and can round-clock operation.

Introduction:
Piston: Ductile Iron, for increased durability.
Tube: Steel, Honed and precision finished for extended seal life.
Attachment: Ductile Iron, threaded female clevis, adjustable with locking bolt.
Paint : High quality paint for corrosion resistance.
Operating temperature: -30 to +80 degrees Celsius, but the unit should not be used when oil is frozen.

Installation method:

The most commonly used mounting options are flange, trunnion, clevis, pin-eye, cross-tube, spherical, and tang. Cylinder mounting is chosen based upon the application’s requirements.

About piston rod:

High strength damage resistant piston rod provides 100,000 PSI minimum yield material in 1" through 4 1/2" diameters. Larger diameters vary between 50,000 and 75,000 PSI minimum yield material. All rods are case hardened to 50-55 RC and hard chrome plated to provide maximum wear life. Stainless steel is also available. The hard chrome plated of the piston rod according to your requirement.
