Description
LIB -70℃ Thermal Shock Test Device is to check the behaviour of the product when it undergoes a thermal shock; in these cases, the sample may cool or heat up with different speeds in different parts depending on the material. If this corresponds to large increases or contraction in volume, the material could suffer large mechanical stresses, leading to failure.
As exposed to the rapid exchange of drastic hot and cold, the inner part of the tested sample, such as the metal material, will experience great temperature difference in the shortest time, thus triggering a large shock thermal stress. This phenomenon is called thermal shock.
