Water Tank Temperature Sensor
Product Description:
This product is water tank temperature sensor that uses a Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor.
Voltage Measurement: Measure the voltage across the NTC thermistor using an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or a dedicated temperature sensing IC. The output voltage can be converted to a temperature reading using a calibration curve that relates resistance to temperature.
Circuit Connection: Connect the NTC thermistor in series with a resistor (usually a fixed resistor) to form a voltage divider circuit. The output voltage across the NTC thermistor can be measured.
Calibration: Calibrate the system by comparing the sensor output with actual temperature measurements in your water tank. This may involve creating a lookup table or a mathematical equation to convert the measured voltage to temperature.
Data Logging or Display: Depending on your application, you might want to log the temperature data over time or display it in real-time. This could involve using a microcontroller or a dedicated temperature monitoring system.
Housing and Waterproofing: Ensure that the NTC thermistor and associated circuitry are housed in a way that protects them from water and environmental conditions. This is crucial for a water tank application.
