HCET HC18/8AM Bimetal Thermal Overload Protector Dual-Sensitive Motor Protection Switch for Automotive/Industrial Applications

HCET HC18/8AM series are precision-engineered bimetal thermal protectors designed for dual-mode protection against overcurrent (15-60A) and overtemperature (80℃-180℃) in electrical systems. As a critical safety component in motor-driven applications, our thermal cutoff switches combine fast-acting bimetal disc technology with CE/UL compliance to prevent equipment burnout across automotive, HVAC, and industrial automation sectors.

    Simultaneously monitors temperature rise (T±5℃ calibration) and current overload (up to 60A 250VAC), ideal for capacitor-start motors and split-phase motor protection.

    Tested for 10,000+ cycles, with zinc alloy housing rated for -30℃ to 200℃ operation in harsh environments.
  • Fast Trip Response
    4-10 second cut-off at setting temperature, significantly faster than standard thermal fuses to prevent motor winding damage.

    Pre-configured for UL/CE/RoHS certification pathways, supporting OEM integration in automotive (IATF 16949 compatible) and industrial equipment.
  • Customizable Configurations
