One of the main fetures of lifpo4 battery is their high energy density, it can store more energy than lead acid battery in same size. Another feture of lifepo4 battery is thery are more environmental friendly than other batteries as they won't release toxic chemicals if you broken them down. What most important is that they are more saftey, unlike traditional lithium-ion batteries, which use cobalt or lithium cobalt oxide as a cathode material, LiFePO4 batteries use iron as a cathode material, so they are much less chance to thermal runaway, which is a condition where a battery overheats and catches fire.
