They are widely used in various applications, including electric vehicles, renewable energy storage, and portable electronics due to their stability, safety, and long life, and provide a stable voltage output throughout their discharge cycle, which contributes to consistent performance. It capability of handling high discharge currents, making them suitable for applications requiring quick bursts of power. Also they are more environmentally friendly than other lithium-ion chemistries, sinceit does not contain toxic metals like cobalt.
