ASTMF2063 Nitinol, also known as Nickel-Titanium, is a shape memory alloy with unique characteristics, including:

1. Nitinol wire with shape memory effect: Nitinol has the ability to remember its original shape, and return to that shape after being deformed. This effect is due to a reversible martensitic transformation, which allows Nitinol wire to "remember" its original shape.

2. Superelasticity: Nitinol wire also named super elastic nitinol wire, because of its ability to undergo large deformations and still return to its original shape, without sustaining permanent deformation. This property is known as superelasticity, or pseudoelasticity, and is due to the stress-induced martensitic transformation.

3. Biocompatibility: ASTMF2063 Nitinol wire is biocompatible, meaning that it is not toxic to living tissue and does not cause adverse reactions when implanted in the body. This property makes Nitinol wire an ideal material for medical applications.

4. Corrosion Resistance: Nitinol is highly resistant to corrosion, making it suitable for use in harsh environments, such as marine or aerospace applications.

5. High Strength: Nitinol has a high strength-to-weight ratio, making it a strong and lightweight material.
