Working Principle of Jaw Crusher:
The core components of jaw crusher are movable jaw and fixed jaw. The movable jaw is a movable component that can move up and down, while the fixed jaw is a fixed component. When working, the material enters from the upper feed port of the crusher and falls into the crushing chamber between the movable jaw and the fixed jaw. The movable jaw moves by the eccentric shaft. As the eccentric shaft rotates, the movable jaw moves up and down under the fixed jaw.
When the movable jaw moves downward, the material in the crushing chamber slides downward due to gravity, forming a relatively large gap, during which the material can fall freely. When the movable jaw moves upward, the material is sandwiched between the movable jaw and the fixed jaw, subjected to huge extrusion pressure, and thus broken into small pieces. This process is an intermittent crushing process. The material is repeatedly squeezed, torn and impacted during the up and down movement of the movable jaw, and finally reaches the desired crushing particle size. The crushing ratio of jaw crusher is usually between 4:1 and 6:1, depending on the nature of the material and the design of the crusher.
