The main structure of box crusher:
Casing: Casing is box-shaped and is usually welded from steel plates. It has strong strength and wear resistance. There is a crushing chamber inside the casing, which can withstand high-intensity impact and pressure.
Rotor: The rotor is the core component of the box crusher, usually composed of multiple hammers and a rotating shaft. The hammers rotate at high speed through the rotor to generate strong impact force.
Hammer: Hammer is component directly involved in the crushing process. It is usually made of high manganese steel or alloy materials to ensure its wear resistance and service life.
Screen: Used to control the particle size of the material after crushing. The material that meets the particle size requirements can be discharged through the screen, and the material that does not meet the requirements will continue to remain in the crushing chamber for secondary crushing.
Feeding device: Evenly transport the material to be crushed into the crushing chamber to ensure the efficient operation of the equipment.
Motor: Power source drives the rotor to rotate. Diesel engine power can also configured according to customer requirements or site restrictions.
Working process of box crusher:
The rotor speed can usually reach thousands of revolutions per minute, which makes the hammer head run at a very high speed on the rotor. When the material enters the crushing chamber, it first collides with the high-speed rotating hammer head. The hammer head hits the material at a very high speed, generating a strong impact force and shear force, which causes the material to be broken quickly. Secondary crushing: Under the impact and shearing action of the hammer head, the material is broken into smaller particles. The crushed material moves downward under the action of gravity, and some coarse materials may be hit again by the hammer head for secondary crushing. Screening and discharge: The crushed material is discharged through the screen. The material that meets the particle size requirements can pass through the screen smoothly, while the material that does not meet the requirements continues to remain in the crushing chamber for further crushing.This process is a cycle, the material is continuously fed into crushing chamber, and after crushing and screening, the material of the required particle size is finally obtained.
