Sludge centrifugal dehydrator is a machine that uses the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to concentrate or dewater sludge. It consists of a rotating drum, screw conveyor, differential, main bearing, bottom frame, liquid and solid phase collection chamber, upper cover, motor transmission device, frequency converter and other components.
Working Principle:
After the sludge is fed into the drum through the hollow rotating shaft, it is immediately thrown into the drum cavity under the action of centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation. Due to the high density and high centrifugal force, the sludge particles are thrown onto the inner wall of the drum to form a solid ring layer; due to the low density and small centrifugal force of the water, the liquid ring layer can only be formed inside the solid ring layer. The sludge in the solid ring layer is transported to the cone end of the drum under the slow push of the screw conveyor, and is continuously discharged through the outlets around the drum; the liquid in the liquid ring layer is continuously "overflowed" from the weir to the drum. outside, forming a separated liquid, which is then collected and discharged out of the dehydrator by gravity.
Process Flow:
The precipitated sludge from the sludge concentration tank is crushed by the sludge cutting machine and transported by the sludge feed pump. After being measured by the electromagnetic flowmeter, it is combined with the prepared chemical liquid sent by the flocculant dosing system. Mix and enter the centrifugal dehydrator; the sludge is separated into solid/liquid phases by the dehydrator, and the liquid phase is directly discharged or returned to the sedimentation tank.
In the automatic dosing system of flocculant, powdery flocculant is added from the hopper (material feeder) and added to the preparation tank by the automatic powder feeding device. Tap water enters the preparation tank through the flow meter and is automatically prepared into a solution of a certain concentration; preparation The solution in the pool flows into the storage tank and is transported by the dosing screw pump. After being measured by the electromagnetic flowmeter, it is mixed with the sludge from the sludge concentration tank through the manifold (or static mixer) and the high-speed rotation of the centrifuge. The centrifugal force causes the dense materials (solid phase) in the suspension entering the drum to settle and separate under the action of centrifugal force and centrifugal fluid pressure, and then enter the dewatering machine together for sludge dehydration.
