Working principle:
The working principle of the eddy current separator is mainly based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The eddy current separator has a high-speed magnetic rotor conveyor system. The rotation speed of the magnet generates an induction field, thereby generating a rapidly changing magnetic field. A high-frequency alternating magnetic field is generated by an excitation power supply. When materials containing non-magnetic conductive metals (such as lead, copper, zinc, etc.) pass through this alternating magnetic field at a certain speed, induced eddy currents will be generated in these metals. Since the material flow and the magnetic field have a relative motion speed, there is a thrust on the metal sheets and blocks that generate eddy currents. Using this principle, some non-ferrous metals can be separated from the mixed material flow. Eddy current separators are widely used in metal recycling, resource regeneration, environmental protection industry, metallurgical industry, garbage disposal and other occasions. The equipment has a simple structure, convenient operation, easy maintenance, and can achieve automatic sorting.
Applications:
1. Metal processing: In the automotive industry, eddy current separators can detect cracks and defects in engine parts to improve the safety and quality of automobiles.
