Working principle of eddy current separator:
The eddy current separator is designed based on the principle that a conductor generates an induced current in a high-frequency alternating magnetic field. When working, a high-frequency alternating magnetic field is generated on the surface of the separation magnetic roller. When the conductive non-ferrous metal passes through the magnetic field, an eddy current is induced in the non-ferrous metal. This eddy current itself will generate a magnetic field in the opposite direction of the original magnetic field. Non-ferrous metals (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, etc.) will leap forward along their transportation direction due to the repulsive force of the magnetic field, and achieve separation from other non-conductors or non-metallic substances, thus achieving the purpose of separation.
Eddy current separator application scope:
Eddy current separator is mainly used to recover copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals from domestic garbage, industrial waste, electronic waste, glass scraps, waste plastic doors and windows, boiler bottom ash, and waste car slices. It can be widely used in environmental protection fields such as garbage disposal and waste electrical appliance recycling, as well as material processing in non-ferrous metal processing industries.
