CNC tempered glass grinding:
Due to the appearance of glass processing, sand avalanche, edge collapse and other defects will occur at the edge of the upper and lower surfaces, so edge grinding is needed to eliminate the defects.
The difference between edge grinding of shape and edge grinding of guide angle.
A. Generally, the grinding wheel surface is vertical, and the diamond grinding surface is about 380 mesh, which is rough;
B. Guide angle grinding can be r angle or C angle according to customer requirements. The grinding wheel surface is in a certain angle or a certain radian. The diamond grinding surface is about 800 mesh, which is fine and can reduce the bad edge collapse.

Tempered glass after CNC process
Tempered glass is a type of glass with even compressive stress on the surface which is made by heating float glass to nearly softening point and then cooling it down rapidly by air. During the instant cooling process, the exterior of glass is solidified due to rapid cooling while the interior of the glass is cooled down relatively slowly. The process will bring the glass surface compressive stress and the interior tensile stress which can improve the mechanical strength of glass by germination and result in good thermal stability.
