The Weifang Fred BX92RF wood shredder delivers optimal performance at about 60 to 150 horsepower. With the aid of the tractor hydraulics, the wood is pulled into the shredder by pulling the wood into the hopper by two counter-rotating spiked rollers. This makes fast but also comfortable work possible. Both feed rollers are mounted on both sides with high-quality ball bearings, so that a uniform work is secured without misaligned. The large safety bar serves to control the hydraulic function and regulates the direction (Froward - Stop - Reverse) of the feeder, so that blockages can almost always be eliminated by the "reverse gear". With the feed speed, which can be infinitely adjusted via a hydraulic valve, shredding performance can be very easily matched to the type and diameter of the wood.The speed of the feed rollers can be continuously adjusted. This is important so that the feed speed can be adjusted to fit the diameter of the material to be shredded. Smaller diameters can be fed faster than larger diameters. In the event that the feeder should become blocked, the feed can be set into reverse using the large handle on the hopper. Furthermore, the feed can be switched off using this handle. The unit is powered via the tractor’s hydraulics; a pressurised supply line and an unpressurised return line are required or alternatively a double-acting control unit is required.
