Description:

The Fred BX72R chipper is used for grinding branches, tree trunks up to 17cm in diameter.

The chipper with a three-point suspension system is designed for cooperation with a farm tractor with a minimum power of 50 km.

It has a charging hopper equipped with a hydraulic mechanism of self-feeding material, consisting of two gear shafts, pulling the material into the cutting chamber of the chipper, driven by high-power hydraulic motors.

Hydraulic system contains oil tank, hydraulic pump, hoses, oil control valve and control handle.

The discharge funnel can be turned by 360 degrees with an adjustable throwing angle.

The massive chipping disc of the chipper is equipped with 4 cutting knives sharpened on both sides + one against the knife mounted in the chipper base.

BX72R wood chipper is equipped with a massive chipping disc with a diameter of 740 mm and the weight of the disc is 95 kgs.

As a result, in contrast to drum and cylindrical formers - disc chippers do not burden the engine to a large extent, because the cutting resistance is overcome by the rotational force of the chipping disc.

The chipper also has a latch blocking the disc, which facilitates the replacement of cutting knives.

The drive from the tractor to the chipper is transferred by means of a transmission shaft equipped with a safety pin, which is cut when the machine is too heavy and disconnects the direct drive.
