What is an oil level indicator?

The Oil Level Indicator (OLI) was developed in response to the need of maintenance professionals to gauge the oil level inside large tanks, gearboxes and reservoirs. When water contamination is not a problem or when a regular Esco Oil Sight Glass is already installed at the drain port, the Oil Level Indicator can be utilized to monitor oil level.

The oil level gauge is suitable for sealed transformers, instead of oil pillows, indicate oil level clearly, which helps the transformers operating more safety. The series of YCL oil level gauges are made by glass,less steel pipe, aluminium alloy tube.

Application

The visual Fluid Level Indicators are used for monitoring fluid levels and temperature in various types of reservoirs. Typical applications are hydraulic system reservoirs and lubricating, cutting and cooling fluid tanks. Visual Fluid Level Indicators are suitable for service in mineral oils and phosphate-ester based hydraulic fluids. For Water Glycols and High Water based fluids, the sight tube must be ordered in glass construction. Fluid Level Indicators can be supplied with thermometers.
