Battery banks in power plants and substations must provide the equipment they serve with standby power in the event of a power failure. However, the capacity of such batteries can drop significantly for a number of reasons before their calculated life expectancy is reached. So it is very important to check batteries and battery banks at regular intervals, and the only reliable way of measuring battery capacity is to conduct a discharge test.

The FDT-220/110 is three-in-one battery discharge test system, which not only can perform discharge testing of battery bank, but also can test battery charger and monitor the charging process of battery bank.

The FDT-220/110 kit is used for 110V or 220V battery bank, and the discharging current can take place at up to 50A. If higher current is needed, the extra load unit can be linked together. Tests can be conducted at constant current and constant power. Together with the wireless battery measuring system, the FDT-220/110 kit becomes a complete stand-alone discharge test system.
