Descriprion High Frequency Radar Level Gauge Radar Water Level meter Flare
The High Frequency Radar Level Gauge, also known as a Radar Water Level Meter Flare, operates by emitting a narrow microwave pulse. This pulse travels at the speed of light and when it encounters the surface of the measured medium, a portion of its energy is reflected back to the antenna. The antenna then receives the reflected pulse. By calculating the time interval between the transmitting and receiving pulses, the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium can be determined.
