Introduction

Horizontal reamer, also known as HDD reamer, is used to expand the pilot hole of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) - HDD is used when grooves and excavations are not practical. This drilling technique allows drilling underground in a manipulable trenchless manner.

Features

Reaming bit mainly consists of four or more cones. Main cutting tooth is Tungsten Carbide insert tooth and steel tooth welded new-type wear-resistant alloy. High quality tungsten carbide tooth of new formula and new technique increases the service life of reaming bit. The pilot is roller cone bit or drag bit.
The bearing seal applys high performance O-ring seal or metal sealed bearing and imported lubrication grease special for bit.
It is applied in the big size casing well section, mining and infrastructure building drilling.

Used in
Tri-cone bit is a decelerating bit. It is based on the fact that the speed of the cone is less than the speed of the bit. It is suitable for sidetracking of old wells and deepening of small boreholes under high speed and high drilling pressure.
