They are suitable for use in areas subjected to heavy foot-traffic, such as offices or public buildings. The profiles feature a trapezoid perforated anchoring leg made of aluminum , which is secured in the mortar bond coat beneath the tile and supports a slip-resistant thermoplastic rubber wear surface.

stair-nosing profiles require no special maintenance or care and are resistant to mold and fungi. Clean profiles periodically using pH neutral cleaning agents.

Oxidation films on aluminum may be removed with a conventional polishing agent, but the film will form again. In the case of anodized aluminum, do not use abrasive or strong alkaline cleaning agents.
