The role of the clutch

The clutch is located between the engine and the gearbox, and it enables the two to be reliably engaged and completely separated.

(1) The crankshaft of the engine and the transmission system can be smoothly and gently joined to ensure that the motorcycle starts smoothly. When the inertial torque exceeds the torque that the clutch can transmit, the active part and the driven part of the clutch can produce relative slip.
