The Speed Gate is equipped with multiple safety features and is among the limited number of turnstiles that carry the CE mark. Furthermore, it includes a dedicated emergency input designed for fire and life safety purposes. When the emergency input is activated, such as through a fire alarm system, the barrier panels automatically swing open in the exit direction and stay open until manually reset, enabling unrestricted egress. Additionally, in the event of a power outage, the barrier panels can be easily moved with minimal effort.

Installation and Commissioning

Unlike competitor products that require bulky, surface-mounted omni-directional readers, Proud offers the innovative option of interior mounting a barcode image within the cabinet’s end for a sleeker and more streamlined solution.

Featuring a user-friendly graphical interface, it provides attendants with real-time status updates for all turnstiles, along with instant alerts for any alarm conditions. Additionally, the software offers functionality to create scheduling templates, allowing automatic adjustments to turnstile modes based on predefined schedules.
