It is tuned to quad band GSM/GPRS & 3G/UMTS frequencies, making this antenna a very mainstream performer. Its wide operating frequency band allows for worldwide cellular applications over the quad band GSM/GPRS networks and also high data transfer rates via 3G/UMTS. It achieves a reputable peak gain of 2.5dBi, making this HIGHEST GAIN flat blade antenna. Therefore, this is one antenna of choice for GSM/3G applications within marginal signal areas.
It is supplied, as standard, with a 3 meter RG174 coaxial cable, terminated with an SMA male connector. Custom cable lengths and alternative connector types can be supplied for volume requirements.
3. Introduction
This is a high gain flat blade antenna. Its slim and low profile design means it will fit discreetly onto most surfaces, whether that is on top of an energy meter or on the side of telemetry equipment, this antenna will suit a variety of environments and applications. Supplied with a 3M adhesive base, also is perfect for quick and simple installations onto a number of different surface materials such as: metal, glass, wood and plastic. More so, the use of an adhesive base takes away the need to drill holes or apply adhesive substances – simply ‘peel & press’ the antenna into its desired position.
