It made its debut at the Sixth International Construction Machinery Exhibition of that year, and won the "first prize of modeling and appearance quality evaluation". The next year, the original non excavator special main valve was abandoned, and KYB hydraulic system was first introduced in China. Later, it took the lead in developing tailless excavators in China, and was the first to introduce and assist Rexroth in optimizing LUDV system for excavators.

In 2004, under the background of lack of supporting facilities for micro excavators in China, Changsha, which has a relatively weak industrial foundation, took the lead in developing driver's cabs and panels, and established the first fops and ROPS certification laboratory meeting European safety standards in China. In this year, Shanhe intelligent launched swe50 excavator, which was the first one to adopt Yanmar engine in China, leading the application of Yangma power in domestic small excavator industry, solving the problem of insufficient lifting height of boom when small excavator slewing boom was lifted in the hydraulic system, thus forming a modern small excavator fully in line with international standards.

In 2007, we set up a project team to start R & D and production. Independent research and development, high-end positioning, the first product of the cab, panels, counterweight that all use mold production. It took less than a year from the concept to the prototype. Set a medium excavator R & D speed of the industry.

In 2008, it took the lead in developing intelligent excavator. The intelligent excavator integrates a number of advanced technologies such as electro-hydraulic integration technology and wireless remote control technology. It is the first remote control intelligent excavator developed and displayed in China, which fully demonstrates the innovative advantages of Shanhe intelligent in excavator electro-hydraulic control technology. This year, the annual export of Shanhe intelligence exceeded 1000.

Two years later, Shanhe intelligent developed the first engineering hybrid excavator in China. In 2012, a new e series excavator was launched. The new main valve with independent intellectual property rights is applied, and the double operation mode for different working conditions is created: mining mode and flat mode. Since then, energy efficiency has become the core gene of Shanhe excavator.

In 2013, swe365e and swe470e mining excavators were launched, and the concept of mining excavators was first proposed and commercialized in China.

In 2014, the first commercial hydraulic hybrid excavator was launched in China. The hydraulic hybrid system with independent intellectual property rights recycled the potential energy of the working device, and the first FSM flow self matching rotary energy saving technology improved the energy utilization rate of the whole machine and reduced the fuel consumption by up to 30%. The overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, and the energy recovery and utilization technology ranks the international leading level.

In 2018, it was the first in China to launch a full series of tailless excavators. Since then, Shanhe intelligent has formed two complete series of standard tail and zero tail, and is one of the most complete manufacturers in the industry.
