Working principle of TROLEO series intelligent valve positioner: The 4-20mA set value signal from the control system (such as DCS) or control instrument is converted by AID and sent to the microprocessor on the main circuit board, while the non-contact valve position sensor The detection signal is also sent to the microprocessor after being converted by AID, and the input set value signal is compared with the actual valve value signal, and the microprocessor performs positioning control according to the PWM five-step algorithm. The size and direction send an electronically controlled command (digital) to the nozzle in the pneumatic component - the flapper I/P, which converts the control command into pneumatic output increments. When the deviation between the actual valve position and the set value is large, the PWM algorithm makes the command enter the high-speed area, and the positioner continuously increases the output; if the deviation is small, the PWM algorithm makes the command enter the low-speed area, the command pulse duty cycle is small, and the positioner The output increments smoothly; when the deviation is small (adaptive or adjustable deadband state), the PWM algorithm makes the command zero and the positioner has no output. The deviation is approximately zero, that is, the actual valve position is consistent with the set value, and the positioning control reaches a balanced state. The digital open, stop and close signals are converted by pneumatic components to drive pneumatic actuators/control valves.
