1. Product Overview
The PCD type positive pressure dense phase pneumatic conveying bin pump determines the pump capacity based on the properties, particle size, conveying distance, and conveying volume of the conveyed material, that is, it is designed as a single machine to minimize conveying energy consumption while meeting process requirements. 2. Working Principle
The pneumatic conveying silo pump operates based on the principle of positive - pressure pneumatic conveying. The working process can be divided into the following steps:
Filling Phase: First, the inlet valve and exhaust valve of the silo pump are opened. The pump is filled with materials under normal pressure until the level gauge indicates that the silo is full.
Pressurization Phase: After filling, the inlet valve and exhaust valve are closed, and then the high - pressure air valve is opened to pressurize the inside of the tank.
Conveying Phase: When the operating pressure is reached, the conveying air valve and discharge valve are opened. The pressurized air pushes the materials in the silo pump into the conveying pipeline, and the materials are transported to the designated location.
Emptying and Depressurization Phase: Once the conveying is completed, as indicated by the pressure switch, level gauge, or time relay, the high - pressure air valve and discharge valve are closed. All the compressed air is used to clean the conveying pipeline. At the same time, the exhaust valve is opened to reduce the pressure in the tank to normal pressure, completing one working cycle.
