1 . Descriptions:
The step feeder is capable of conveying both spherical and cylindrical parts. Compared to vibratory bowl feeders, the step feeder operates with less noise and gently handles parts. Our step feeder is available in a variety of configurations and can be fully adapted to the requirements of automated production lines.
The main method of conveying material is through a step shaped device, which lifts and lowers the part onto a track in a cyclical motion. Regular material can be conveyed directly to a specified location on the track, while more complex products are bounced off the orientation track and returned to the incorrectly oriented product for the next orientation.
The simple linear motion of the step feeder allows for essentially no wear between the materials and no wear between the materials and the machine, ensuring a long service life for the step feeder.

3 . Advantages of Step Feeder :
Both products, the step feeder and the vibratory bowl feeder, are feeding machines and they each have their own advantages and disadvantages.
The step feeder uses a variable frequency drive feature that can time the feeding cycle to the second. Vibratory bowl feeders can cause material to fall into the bowl when sifting through the material, requiring adjustments from time to time.
The step feeder always provides a smooth motion and the material is relatively free from damage. For parts that scratch easily, rubber or other soft materials can be applied to key areas of the vibratory bowl feeder.
In terms of how to reduce noise, the step feeder can be made up of rubber to form a lift, while the vibratory bowl feeder is usually made with metal, and a ring of acoustic enclosure can be installed around the vibratory bowl feeder to reduce noise.
