The Bottom Feed vibro-replacement is a special method realized by using BOTTOM FEED VIBROFLOTATION DEVICE, which can fill the stones from the outlet located at the bottom of the vibroflot. It mainly used for under water vibroflotation construction or silt clay soil improvement with non-drainage shear strength less than 20kpa.
Drawn by crane, the vibroflot works with high pressure water and air, penetrates the soil layer until to the specified depth, and then the valve of the bypass tube of the vibroflot is opened to fill stone from bottom of borehole. When the stone material amount achieve the need for this depth, the valve is closed.A certain distance is raised on the vibroflot, the material valve is re-opened, and the stone material is released, meanwhile the current position, electrical current, filling amount and depth are recorded by the monitor. Repeat the above process until the vibroflot is completely lift out of the ground, when a pile is completed.
