Kovar Bar, also known as Kovar alloy bar, adopts the brand name Kovar. Kovar is a special low thermal expansion alloy composed of approximately 29% nickel, 17% cobalt and 53% iron. It is widely used in industrial fields for its excellent thermal expansion properties and dimensional stability.
The main feature of the Kovar Bar is its matching thermal expansion coefficient to that of glass. This makes it an excellent packaging material and is widely used in the electronic packaging industry. Kovar Bar's thermal expansion properties are very close to those of glass, so stress and mismatch issues between the packaging material and glass are greatly reduced when temperature changes. This ensures package stability and reliability.
