Video amplifier can amplify 1 channel video signal into multi-channel uniformly, video signal from amplifier is same to the video signal before amplifier, that is 6Mhz, 1Vp-p, 75Ω.

PE12 series can amplify 8,16 or 32 groups of video signal, every group is 1ch signal input and 2ch or 3ch same signal output.

In CCTV system, sometimes it requires one signal of video source(camera) to be sent to multi-terminal device (such as monitor, recorder, etc.).But parallel connection will cause impedance mismatch, signal attenuation, image distortion, circuitry unstable. For the same reason, audio signal transmission faces the same problem. So video & audio distribution is needed.
