DESCRIPTION

Expanded PTFE Rope is made of 100% PTFE of puffed PTFE material cut or punched. Expanded PTFE material (eptfe) expands PTFE into a unique material with strong, tough and porous properties and is highly fibrotic.

It not only maintains the unique properties of PTFE itself - excellent chemical stability (not affected by general chemicals); extremely low coefficient of friction; wider operating temperature; non-aging and permanent durability;

Now its multi-fiber structure gives it an unimaginable tenacity as a sealing product, and more importantly, it fundamentally solves the common problems of other types of tetrafluorine sealing materials -- creep and cold flow, which greatly improves the performance compared with pure tetrafluorine gaskets and filled tetrafluorine gaskets. In addition, it is easy to cut, easy to install, and has a long service life. This is undoubtedly a remarkable revolution.

FEATURES

2 . It’s suitable for rough surface has unique compliance forming ability, it can produce good sealing effect on rough or damaged flange surface without increasing much pressure.

3 . Extremely strong chemical corrosion resistance does not react with any chemical except for a very small number of chemicals such as fused alkali metals, free fluorine, tertiary nuclei, etc., and can be applied in all sealing occasions within the allowable range of temperature (315℃), which will greatly reduce the variety and number of seals.

4 . The unique high density fiber structure with good creep resistance and cold resistance, it has strong creep resistance. Its mechanical properties are very stable because it contains no adhesive and additives.

Application

It’s widely used in sealing of food equipment,chemical industry,sealing of high linear velocity valve or pump. Specially, PTFE fibre braided packing can be applied to seal all chemicals except molten alkali metal because PTFE fibre has perfect resistance to most of chemicals. PTFE fiber braided packing can be used to seals of pharmaceutic . General speaking,it is widely used for where contamination is not allowed. It is recommended for chemical engineering.
