The image acquisition module includes an 8K line scanning camera and two 1.8m linear direct light sources.In addition, because leather generally has many folds, in order to get more accurate image information, a fixed equipment is applied to expand the leather, and a certain light source is used to fill the light on the leather, so can get more accurate leather information.

The image processing module includes the upper computer and the image processing software. The image processing software processes a series of single frame leather images collected by the industrial camera.The leather defect detection and location algorithm which based on multi-thread was used to get the location of the leather defect, and the image processing software will give the detection report for the staff to check later. The inspection report includes the location, type and rating of the leather defect.
