GINRI Voltage Monitoring Relay DC Over/Under Voltage Relay DVRD

Overvoltage refers to the phenomenon that the rms value of the AC voltage rises at the power frequency, exceeding 10% of the rated value, and the long-term voltage fluctuation is longer than 1 minute. The occurrence of overvoltage is usually the result of load switching, for example: Cut off a large capacity load or energize the capacitor bank (overvoltage caused by excess reactive power compensation).


The abnormal voltage rise of the power system exceeding the working voltage under certain conditions belongs to an electromagnetic disturbance phenomenon in the power system. The insulation of electrical equipment is tolerant to the operating voltage for a long time, and must also withstand a certain range of overvoltage, so as to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power system.
