The Fine Bubble Disc Diffuser consists of a circular disc made from high-quality materials, such as EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) or silicone, that are resistant to corrosion and degradation in wastewater environments. The disc is perforated with numerous small holes, typically in the range of a few millimeters in diameter.
When air is supplied to the diffuser, it passes through the small holes and forms fine bubbles. These bubbles have a significantly smaller diameter compared to coarse or medium-sized bubbles, resulting in a larger total surface area. The increased surface area allows for a more efficient transfer of oxygen from the air into the wastewater.
