The hydraulic screen is a simple, efficient device that can recover fibers and other particles as short as 350 microns in length from water suspensions. The inclined screen is compact, has no moving parts, and requires little maintenance.
The unique screen plate is composed of an arc surface formed by wedge-shaped bars with horizontal gaps between the bars, usually 350 microns wide. The liquid to be screened enters through the slurry box and flows to the screen plate through a weir mouth by force. When the suspension flows along the screen plate, the thin layer of hydraulic screen plate bars is cut off and passes through the screen gap along with the fine particles.
The hydraulic screen is a small, unpowered separation device used to filter solid or colloidal substances such as suspended matter, floating matter, and sediment in sewage treatment. The water to be treated is evenly distributed on the screen surface through the overflow weir, and the solid matter is intercepted. The filtered water flows out from the screen plate slit gland. At the same time, under the action of hydraulic force, the solid matter is pushed to the lower end of the screen plate and discharged, thereby achieving the purpose of separation.
Hydraulic screen can effectively reduce suspended solids (SS) in water and reduce the processing load of subsequent processes. It can also be used for solid-liquid separation and recovery of useful substances in industrial production. It is a commonly used equipment in water treatment. Its correct selection and reasonable use directly affect the normal operation of the sewage treatment device in the entire process.
Advantages and features:
1. It uses the gravity of the water flow itself to work without energy consumption;
2. It is not easy to block and is easy to clean.
3. The whole machine is made of stainless steel, with high mechanical strength, no deformation and long life.
4. It has a compact structure, no moving parts, simple operation and rarely requires maintenance.
2. Working Principle
The original wastewater first enters from the inlet pipe, overflows through the flow regulating trough, and then the SS solids are filtered out from the surface of the inclined fine screen filter, and the SS is briefly stopped, and then automatically slides down and is collected into a package. The water is discharged from the bottom of the wedge shape and connected to the drainage pipe to the wastewater treatment plant. The inclined fine screen filter is composed of a combination of wedge-shaped mesh rods. The wedge shape is similar to a triangle and has the best filtering characteristics. As shown in the figure: the filter surface is smooth and the thickness is 3~10mm. The gap on the top is small, filtering to fine solids; the gap on the bottom is large, the drainage is smooth, and it is not easy to block the back of the filter; due to professional processing, this equipment has been applied to solid-liquid separation projects in wastewater treatment in various industries
