Product Description
Fine bubble diffusers are mostly used in water re-oxygenation and biological wastewater
treatment systems. Particularly, the membrane type fine bubble diffusers are popular
because of their low maintenance, non-clogging, and high oxygen transfer efficiency. The
fine bubble membranes are slit (1-2mm) in a pattern in order to maximize their
performance.
Diffusers are then assembled with a membrane, support (tubular/disc), and appropriate
connection joint. When a membrane is under air (gas) pressure from the blowers, the slits
open to release the air (gas) forming fine bubbles 1-3mm in diameter.
These fine bubbles transfer oxygen into water via their tremendous surface area. When the
air (gas) pressure disappears, the elastic characteristic of membrane closes the slits
preventing liquid from flowing back into the air (gas) headers.
Membrane Fine Bubble Diffuser for effluent treatment features a unique split pattern and
slit shapes, which can disperse air bubbles in an extremely fine and uniform pattern for high
oxygen transfer efficiency. A much highly effective and integrated check valve enables the
aeration zones to be easily shut down for air-on/air-off applications.
