Product Description
Wear-resistant ceramic lining for coal conveying system is a material with alumina (Al₂O₃) as the main body, supplemented with other ingredients, and sintered at a high temperature of 1700°C. It has excellent wear resistance, impact resistance, high-temperature resistance, and acid and alkali resistance. It is widely used in coal conveying systems in thermal power, steel, smelting, coal, and other industries to resist the wear of coal particles on the pipe wall, prevent pipeline leakage, and ensure smooth and stable coal transportation.
Structure Composition and Manufacturing Process
Layer | Material & Function |
---|---|
Top Layer (Wear-resistant Layer) | Square-shaped wear-resistant ceramic blocks (special formula alumina ceramic) - Hardness ≥ HRA88, designed to resist impact and prevent cracking |
Middle Layer (Buffer Layer) | High-strength special rubber - Elastic modulus ≥ 8MPa, absorbs impact energy and reduces equipment vibration noise |
Bottom Layer (Fixing Layer) | Carbon steel base plate (thickness 3-12mm) - Pre-installed countersunk bolt holes, compatible with M12-M24 bolts, easy installation, tensile strength ≥ 450MPa |
Composite Process: High-temperature vulcanization at 150°C, forming a three-in-one structure with a peel strength ≥ 15N/mm² | |
Technical advantages
Impact resistance and anti-falling:
1. The micro-convex design on the ceramic surface disperses the impact force, and the rubber layer buffers vibration to prevent the ceramic from breaking (can withstand a material flow rate of 30m/s)
2. The vulcanization process makes the ceramic/rubber/steel plate seamlessly combined, without the risk of crevice corrosion.
Ultra-long service life:
The wear resistance is 12-15 times that of ordinary manganese steel linings, and the maintenance cycle is extended to more than 8 years (actual measurement data of coal pipelines in thermal power plants)
Convenient installation and maintenance:
Countersunk bolt-hole design can directly replace the old liner, single piece size supports customization (conventional 200×200mm~1000×600mm)
Production process
Raw material processing: high-purity alumina powder mixed with a binder, pressed into shape (dry pressing/isostatic pressing).
High-temperature sintering: sintering above 1700℃ to form a dense ceramic layer
Composite process: ceramic and metal substrates are fixed by adhesive or welding
Surface treatment: grinding of welding points, anti-corrosion coating treatment

FAQ
Q: How to choose the bonding and welding process?
A: Bonding is suitable for normal temperature/low impact scenarios, with low cost and fast installation; welding is suitable for high temperature/high impact conditions and has stronger durability3.
Q: What is the service life of the ceramic lining?
A: Under normal conditions, it can reach 8-10 years, depending on the hardness and flow rate of the material17.
Q: Does it support customized sizes?
A: Yes, it can produce a full plate of up to 6m×3m, and can be cut into special-shaped linings such as hexagons
Q: How long is the service life of the wear-resistant ceramic lining?
A: The service life depends on the specific working conditions and frequency of use, but it is usually far longer than traditional wear-resistant materials. Under normal circumstances, the service life of the wear-resistant ceramic lining can reach several years.
Q: How high a temperature can the wear-resistant ceramic lining withstand?
A: It can operate in an environment of 0℃-250℃ for a long time. Specially formulated wear-resistant ceramic liners can withstand higher temperatures. Please refer to the product manual or consult the manufacturer for details.
Q: Does the installation of wear-resistant ceramic lining require professionals?
A: Yes, installation requires professionals. Professionals can ensure that the wear-resistant ceramic lining is tightly integrated with the equipment, thereby improving its service life and performance.
