Brief Introduction

Transformer mold resin hardener 10 - 35 kV sealed terminal post adhesives
LW - 8229A is a modified PBA type epoxy resin containing fillers.
LW - 8229B is a modified carboxylic acid anhydride curing agent containing fillers.

Applications

Electrical insulators for medium and high voltage applications.
Such as:10 - 35kV sealed terminal posts, transformers, current transformers, and other insulation components.

Processing Methods

Conventional gravity casting process under vacuum.
Automatic pressure gelation process (APG).
Production process is adjustable according to client’s present production
methods.

Properties

Two-component saturated cyclic epoxy resin system with pre-mixed fillers, slurry liquid at room temperature.
Excellent resistance to thermal shock with superior crack resistance.

Epoxy resin LW - 8229A 100 pbw
Hardener LW - 8229B 100 pbw
Color paste LC series * 1 pbw

Note: The components needs to be mixed evenly before use.
