Generally speaking, this deflection Angle should not be greater than 1.5° and should not be less than 0.5°. There are some slight differences (about a 0.25° variation), but it is good to remember this general statistic. The optimal deflection Angle also depends on the load, cable structure and lifting speed. This deflection Angle indicates that for every 10m from the drum to the pulley, the distance between the wire rope and the midpoint of the drum should not be greater than 260mm (520mm between the two flanges). 9 Q2 ` 2 L!
