Compared with cordless groove (smooth) drum and helical groove drum, LBS grooved drum has obvious advantages in multilayer spooling. It can be widely used in the heavy lifting and compact working conditions.
LBS grooved winch drum advantage:
1) Each one circle layer of the grooved drum has two parallel groove section and two groove section
2) Make wire rope spooling more smooth and uniform distribution of load between each layer
3) Prevent cross &mess in rope spooling working happening
4) Lower the rope damage, extend the rope life

Product Structure

Groove Drum Composition: Drum core, Flanges, Shaft, Etc
Processing: Rope drums with grooves cut directly into them.Winch drum with flange, the LBS groove is cut directly into the body of the drum, according to customers’ requirements, the flanges are either welded or screw-bolted. groove geometry is determined by rope construction, diameter and length, and by application. the drum has the required mounting dimensions for the actual operating conditions.
