Molas B300 Offshore Wind Lidar: Accurate 0.1m/s & 1° Measurement
| Product introduction
The original work of wind measurement lidar was to emit signal light generated by fiber lasers into the air to be measured through optical antennas, and interact with aerosol particles to generate backscattered signals containing their velocity information. According to the Doppler principle, the Doppler frequency shift fd of the echo signal is directly proportional to the velocity of aerosol particles (i.e. wind speed). Therefore, the backscattered signal received by the optical antenna can be processed by combining with the local oscillator light generated by the fiber laser in the system and digital demodulation to obtain the wind field information of the target to be tested.
