Wind lidar rental: 4-Beam EOLOS Molas NL, ±0.5° Direction Accuracy
| Product introduction
Molas NL is based on the principle of fully coherent Doppler detection for wind measurement, and its schematic diagram is shown in Figure 3. The pulse signal generated by the fiber laser is emitted into the atmosphere to be measured through an optical antenna, and interacts with the aerosol particles to generate a backscattered signal containing velocity information. The optical antenna receives the backscattered signal, beats it with the internal local oscillator light of the system, and ultimately converts it into an electrical signal. After the signal is amplified, the digitization of the electrical signal is completed by an analog-to-digital converter A/D. The collected data is transmitted to the processor, and the radial wind speed at different distances of each beam is obtained based on the signal processing algorithm. Finally, the reconstructed wind speed, wind direction, turbulence, Wind shear and other information are obtained by combining the wind field model.
