As the development of high-rise buildings, the improvement of the fire-prevention level and the safety awareness of citizens, the medium voltage fire resistant wires and cables are emerged at the right moment, however, the low voltage cable fire-resistant test standard of the nominal voltage which is up to 0.6/1KV is unable to reflect the property of medium voltage cable correctly, so this medium voltage wire and cable fire resistant tester is designed to improve its quality. The test machine consists of two parts that specimen holder and control cabinet, the structure and properties are designed according to the standard TICW8-2012

Technical parameters:

• Fire frame: the inside frame welded by square tube, A3 steel plate shell + black anti-static spray, both ends of the specimen are independent supporting frame

Burner: 500mm ribbon burner 2 pcs (including venturi mixer), the blowtorch is able to be up and down, back and forth to adjust to meet the position requirements of the specimen

• Sample holder: consists of two metal ring bracket, the intermediate space is about 500mm, test supporting metal ring inner diameter of 150mm, wire diameter of 10 ± 2mm; one end of the specimen fixed with clamps to prevent movement, and the other end is a free support

• Specimen applied voltage: AC1 ~ 10KV adjustable, leakage current 0 ~ 50mA

• Stop fire supply and cut off voltage when specimen is failure

• Fire supply time: 0 ~ 999 Min, adjustable

• Control and regulation of gas source: air mass flow meter 20 ~ 200L / min adjustable, propane mass flow meter 2 ~ 20L / min adjustable

• Flame temperature detection: two pcs of Φ1.5mm US OMEGA temperature sensor

• Control mode: push-button control
