Introduction and Advantage of CCTV Cable

Introduction:

The central conductor of the cable is BC. BC stands for Bare Copper wire. And it also can be CCS. CCS stands for Copper-clad-Steel. BC has a great electric conductivity. It ranks second only to silver. But its price is higher. CCS is relatively cheaper. With the skin effect in high frequency, CCS is used to transmit signals in a coaxial cable. (Such as the connection between TV and VCD, outdoor antenna and CCTV, etc.)So compared to the hard wire, copper wire has greater strength of the expansion. It also can be used as the aerial cable over long stances in the high mountains or across the rivers.

There are three types of shielding.The first one is the standard shielding. The structure is single-sided APC(Aluminum-plastic composite) tape plus braiding.

Then the second one is the triple-layer shielding. The structure is single-sided APC tape plus braiding plus double-sided APC tape.

Lastly the third one is the four-layer shielding. The structure is single-sided APC tape plus braiding plus double-sided APC tape plus braiding.

The shield can help to reduce signal interference. It can prevent the outside condition from affecting the transmission. Likewise, it can prevent the transmission from affecting the outside condition.

The shielding also serves as an outer conductor. The greater thickness and higher density of shielding is, the higher strength of protection will be.

The materials of the shielding are various. They include aluminum-polymer taped wrapping, copper braiding, copper taped wrapping, etc. So far coaxial cables have adopted the braiding of Al-Mg Alloy Wire. So they can increase the strength and reduce cost. The copper wire and copper-clad aluminum wire are a bit expensive. Thus, its usage number isn’t large.

Advantage:

First of all, the cable has multiple applications. It is commonly used to transmit audio and video signals. You can use it for TV connection and computer network.

Second, the cable has a stable transmission speed. Besides, it is good at reducing signal losses and interference due to its insulation.
